Muzamil Ahmed
Born in the Qissa Khwani Bazaar of Peshawar, Muzamil Ahmed is our Master Artisan who brings our wildest ideas to their objective reality with his fine handwork and thirty years of experience. Like the many other artisans of the bazaar, Muzamil’s family has been into the business for generations since the origination of the Bazaar. The history of the ancient Bazaar dates to centuries back when merchants used to enter the city through the gate of Kabul. The Qissa Khwani Bazaar remained a key trade and cultural center where international merchants of subcontinent, Afghanistan and Central Asia stayed at nights and swapped tales of love, culture, art & architecture, music and each others’ traditions thus gaining its name “the Bazar of Story Tellers”.
During its peak days, the bazaar served as a campground for trade caravans of merchants from Delhi, Amritsar, Lahore, Kabul, Dushanbe, Ashgabat and Tashkent who used to enter the city’s gates to unload their merchandise. The rich history of the Bazaar is not only intriguing, but it is also amusing to learn that the artisans of the Bazaar have dedicated generations and lifetimes to it. Muzamil makes sure our products are made with full dedication and the finest details with all our craftsmen putting their heart into it.
